Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 has been steadily putting names and hometowns to the singers competing for the trophy this season, first through promotional videos and now through the show’s own broadcast episodes. A closer look at their backgrounds shows this is not entirely a fresh batch of newcomers either, with several contestants bringing prior reality-show pedigree to the competition. Here is every contestant confirmed so far, along with where they are from, updated as more names are revealed.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 Contestants Confirmed So Far
The new season’s promos introduced the first singers from across the country, each performing on the show’s elaborate new set under the Hindustan Ka Sangeetsthan theme. Below are the first five contestants named and shown ahead of the premiere.
Shivani Swami (Bidar, Karnataka)

Shivani Swami arrives on the national stage with a trophy already in hand. The Bidar singer won Zee Kannada’s regional edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2025, taking home a Rs 15 lakh cash prize after beating runner-up Aradhya Rao and third-place finisher Rashmi Dharmendra in the finale. That regional title makes her one of the more experienced names among the contestants revealed so far, and it shows in the promo, where she holds her own on the show’s centre-stage set backed by the full live orchestra.
Minha Fatima (Wayanad, Kerala)

Representing Wayanad in Kerala, Minha Fatima is one of the contestants drawing attention for bringing a distinct regional voice to the competition, a hallmark of this season’s push to widen its talent search beyond the usual metro hubs.
Durgesh Yadav (Mau, Uttar Pradesh)

Durgesh Yadav comes in from Mau in Uttar Pradesh and appears in the promo seated at the harmonium, accompanying his own vocals, a detail that has already made him one of the more talked-about names among the confirmed line-up.
Mir Zulfikar (Bikaner, Rajasthan)

Mir Zulfikar hails from Bikaner in Rajasthan, a city with a long-standing folk and Sufi singing tradition of its own. He appears in a traditional turban in his introduction clip, part of a segment that leaned heavily on folk-style vocal performances from the western region.
Sairaj Khati (Darjeeling, West Bengal)

Closing out the confirmed list is Sairaj Khati, who grew up in Mirik in the Darjeeling hills of West Bengal. He is no stranger to the reality show circuit either, having previously competed as a top 10 contestant on Zee Bangla’s own Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and later reaching the top 5 of Mero Voice Universe, a Nepali-language international singing competition that draws contestants from the Nepali-speaking diaspora, a natural fit given Mirik’s large Gorkha community. That background shows in the promo, where he delivers one of the more energetic, animated performances of the clip.
Episode 2: Four More Contestants Confirmed
Episode 2 of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026, which aired on 20th September, introduced four more singers to the competition, taking the confirmed contestant count to nine.
Anamika Tripathi (Deoria, Uttar Pradesh)

Anamika Tripathi brings a commanding stage presence to the Episode 2 line-up, performing against the show’s gold-lit backdrop in a striking red ensemble. She hails from Deoria in eastern Uttar Pradesh, adding another voice from the state to what is already the season’s strongest regional contingent so far.
Neeraj Upreti (Haldwani, Uttarakhand)

Neeraj Upreti travels from Haldwani in Uttarakhand to compete on the national stage, introduced in Episode 2 with his own instrument slung across his shoulder. His entry adds a hill-state voice to a season that has otherwise leaned heavily on contestants from the plains and the south.
Sehajdeep Singh (Ludhiana, Punjab)

Sehajdeep Singh represents Ludhiana, one of Punjab’s most musically rich cities, in the Episode 2 contestant reveal. His entry brings a Punjabi voice to a line-up that had, until now, leaned heavily toward the Hindi heartland and the south.
Shraddha Shree (New Delhi)

Rounding out the Episode 2 reveals is Shraddha Shree, representing the capital on a season built around the show’s biggest stage and orchestra yet. Her introduction gives New Delhi its first confirmed name in this year’s contestant line-up.
Five More Contestants Confirmed from the Pre-Premiere Reveals
Alongside the nine names above, Zee TV’s official channels confirmed five more singers in the same run-up to the premiere. These contestants were introduced through individual promo posts rather than broadcast episodes, which is why they were missing from our original round-up, and we’re adding them now to keep the list complete.
Atul Rao (Jaipur, Rajasthan)

Atul Rao arrives with the most reality-show mileage of anyone confirmed so far, having previously competed on Indian Idol Season 13. Based between Jaipur and Mumbai, he also fronts his own Sufi music act, Mehfil-e-Atul. His introduction performance blended the folk style of Kartik Das Baul with rhythmic touches inspired by percussionist Sivamani.
Ayan Bhattacharya (Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh)

Ayan Bhattacharya represents Varanasi, one of Uttar Pradesh’s oldest centres of classical and devotional music. His promo leaned into that heritage, positioning him as one of the more classically-rooted voices confirmed for this season.
Yash Jain (Patna, Bihar)

Yash Jain brings Patna, and Bihar more broadly, into this season’s line-up. His confident, polished stage presence in the introduction promo made him one of the names fans flagged early as a frontrunner.
Shagun Uniyal (Garhwal, Uttarakhand)

Shagun Uniyal travels from the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, adding a second hill-state voice to the line-up alongside Neeraj Upreti. Her introduction drew a wave of congratulatory messages from fellow contestants within hours of the promo going live.
Gitashree Chowdhury (Kolkata, West Bengal)

Gitashree Chowdhury represents Kolkata and West Bengal, a state with a long presence across Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s regional and national editions alike. Her energetic introduction performance drew one of the largest engagement counts of this round of contestant reveals.
Top 12 Selection: Geet Bagde Joins the List
As the Gurus work through the Top 12, one more name has now been added to our confirmed list.
Geet Bagde (Yavatmal, Maharashtra)

Geet Bagde is a Class 11 student from Yavatmal in Maharashtra, and one of the youngest voices in the line-up. She won over the Gurus with a performance built on vocal versatility and easy yodelling, collecting all four green ticks and a place in the Top 12. Her selection makes her one of the season’s early standouts, and she is already part of our Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 voting fan poll.
Kadamb Chauhan Joins the List from Zee TV’s Official Posts
Zee TV’s official Instagram page has also introduced a singer who was missing from our list, so we are adding him now.
Kadamb Chauhan (Delhi)

Kadamb Chauhan is a singer and performer from Delhi, introduced on Zee TV’s page with a devotional performance for the show’s Navratri-themed episodes. He is the second contestant on our list from the capital, after Shraddha Shree. He is also tagged as part of the cast on Zee TV’s post, and his own profile lists him as a singer and performer now on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
Where the Contestant List Stands Now
With these additions, 16 Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 contestants are now confirmed on this list. The season has since moved past its premiere into competitive rounds, with the show’s own promotion referring to a “Top 13” as the field narrows further. Zee TV has also promoted the first elimination, but it has not named the full Top 13 in the posts we could see. We have not yet been able to confirm exactly which contestants make up that Top 13 or whether any of the names above have already been eliminated, so we are holding off on reporting individual elimination status until it is officially confirmed. We will keep this list updated as that becomes clear.
