How Elimination Works on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026
- Score-based eliminations: each week the singers are scored on their performances, and the contestant with the lowest score is eliminated.
- No-elimination weeks: the Gurus can decide that nobody goes home in a particular week, so not every weekend ends with an exit.
- Green ticks: during the selection stage the Gurus awarded green ticks to singers. Geet Bagde, for example, collected all four.
- The Top 13: the selection was expected to produce 12 singers, but one extra contestant earned a spot, so 13 singers moved ahead, according to Eastern Eye.
- The Navratri special: the episodes of October 10 and 11 celebrated Navratri under the theme Shubh Aarambh, with Gujarati folk singer Jahnvi Shrimankar as a guest, and the first elimination came at the end of this weekend.
