There’s more to the gruesome horrors and torturings of Jigsaw. Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have officially announced the renewal of their billion-dollar, psychological thriller-horror franchise that started with 2004’s Saw.

Saw 10 Release Date
Kevin Greutert will direct the film, who has also directed Saw VI and Saw 3D (Saw: The Final Chapter). Although he received a lot of good reviews since the first Saw movie, the last Saw movie did not do that well at the box office. Saw 10 will hit the theaters on October 27, 2023, a few days before Halloween.

Saw 10 Cast
So far, there hasn’t been any official casting announcement. So it’s hard to tell who is gonna be in the upcoming Saw movie. However, there have been many speculations about the original Jigsaw, Tobin Bell, returning to the franchise in Saw 10 as John Kramer.
It’s most likely that we will not be seeing the spin-off actors Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, or Max Minghella. But chances are Cary Elwes may return as Dr. Lawrence Gordon. We will update you as soon as any announcements are made.

Saw 10 Plot
Last year Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures gave us Spiral: From the Book of Saw, which is the 9th installment of this horror franchise. However, the title for Saw’s 10th installment hasn’t been decided yet. In addition to that, the makers of Saw 10 haven’t given us any official plot details. As per a report, the cast and the plot of Saw 10 are being kept under wraps to keep the anticipation going. Saw producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules said in an interview,
“We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike would love“.
