A seventh Battle loser, Kayleigh Mathews, was claimed by both Kelly Clarkson and Riley Green with their Steal buttons, so she was not eliminated.

Kayleigh Mathews: Lost Her Battle but Was Not Eliminated
Kayleigh Mathews, one of the season’s four-chair turns, lost her Battle to Lillie Kolich on Team Queen. Kelly Clarkson and Riley Green both used their Steal button for her, so she stayed in the competition instead of going home. Her new team is covered on our Battles results page.

How Eliminations Work in The Voice Season 30
- Battles: each coach pairs two artists from their team to sing a duet and picks one winner. The other artist is out unless another coach uses their one Steal on them.
- Seven per team advance: six Battle winners and one stolen artist, which makes 28 artists going into Cut Week.
- Cut Week: it replaces the Knockouts. Each coach sends two artists straight to the live shows, five artists on each team compete for one more spot, and America votes one extra artist in, which makes a Top 13.
- Live shows: six weeks of live episodes where viewers vote by text or TikTok comments, leading to the finale.
