KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Mädchen Amick, Casey Cott, Charles Melton and Vanessa Morgan will return to the set. Is it the end for Riverdale?
Riverdale is based on Archie comics. Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the show became an immediate hit when it was released back in 2017 on CW, along with its streaming run on Netflix. The first two seasons were no doubt amazing. However, since the last season, the show has taken a step back, with the viewership falling under half a million viewers. That’s why the broadcasters have decided to give the show a proper farewell. The CW chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz recently stated, “I’m a big believer in giving series that has long run an appropriate sendoff,”. He also added, “We want to make sure it goes out the right way.”
