Anupamaa Story So Far
The story opens with Anupamaa, a devoted housewife who is taken for granted by her husband Vanraj and her children. On their 25th wedding anniversary she discovers Vanraj’s affair with his colleague Kavya. She stays in the family home, restarts her life as a dance teacher and slowly builds her own identity, with the quiet support of her old friend Anuj Kapadia.
Over the next few years Anupamaa and Vanraj divorce, and Anupamaa marries Anuj. The show then took a series of time jumps: a five-year leap in December 2023, a six-month leap in July 2024 and a ten-year leap in October 2024. After the last leap the story follows Rahi and Prem, while Anupamaa remains the emotional centre. In 2026 new characters such as Digvijay Sood have joined, and the story continues with new family conflicts.
