⚠ Show the reported winner of The Challenge 42
Reported winners (Team Orange): Johnny Bananas, CT Tamburello, Tori Deal, Michele Fitzgerald and Will Gagnon.
Reported runners-up (Team Grey): Adrienne Naylor, Alexis Lete, Cara Maria Sorbello and Cassidy Clark.
If the reports hold, it would be an eighth title for Johnny Bananas, a sixth for CT, a second for Tori and a first for Michele and Will. Adrienne and Cassidy have never placed higher on The Challenge, and Lete would make the final two teams as a rookie.

How the Final Decides the Winner
The final ran over two episodes in Thailand with Team Orange against Team Grey. Part 1 streamed on October 21 and sent no one home, and Part 2 streamed on October 28 at 3 a.m. ET (12 a.m. PT). A team has to finish together to win, and the winning captain decides how the $500,000 prize is shared, including the option to keep it all.
Where the Spoilers Come From
Challenge seasons are filmed months before they stream, and the final placements usually leak through fan spoiler accounts long before the finale. Parade published the placements on premiere day, August 5, and DailyDramaWatch listed the same result in September. Their arena results for Episodes 1 to 12 matched what later aired, but neither outlet is official, and Paramount+ and MTV have not commented. Treat the winner as reported until the official result is out.
