After Snitch, which is a men’s apparel company, and Mahantam, a tea glass washing machine, Pharmallama, a smart medicine box startup company, has also made a five-shark deal in Shark Tank India Season 2. Originally the co-founders requested for an investment of Rs. 1 crore for 1.5% equity, but the deal was sealed for Rs. 2 crores for 5% equity. Sharks – Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, and Amit Jain have made the deal with Pharmallama owners.
About Pharmallama
Pharmallama was co-founded in June 2020 by three intelligent minds Achintya Dayal, Arjun Raghunandan, and Deepesh Rajpal. The company is based in Bangalore, and it is India’s first full-service digital pharmacy that aims to simplify medical needs. Their solution makes medicine easily accessible to the sick and the old where they can evade the long queues.
Using their service is very simple, requiring one to create a profile with them using their personal information and upload their doctor’s prescription. One of their medical experts will connect with you to confirm the doctor’s prescription and also mention the prices of the medication available with their in-house pharmacist. Your medicine will then be delivered to your doorstep within 3 days.

What was their USP?
The unique thing about Pharmallama is that their medicines are delivered neatly in pre-sorted sachets with the exact dosage you need to take. The timing and details of your medication will be printed clearly on these sachets. These sachets are separated with dotted lines so you can easily tear them, take your medication, and dispose of the sachet. This sorting and sealing of medication is done with the help of a highly advanced machine.
You don’t have to purchase a full strip of medication if the doctor prescribes you a seven-day medication. Pharmallama sends you just 7 days of medicine only. This saves money and the wastage of medicines.
