Netflix had already declared in September 2021 that there will be a Season 2 of ‘Young Royals’, and on July 1, 2022, they officially announced through Twitter that the series would be released this November.

‘Young Royals’ is a Swedish series that reveals the story of Prince Wilhelm, played by Edvin Ryding, after he is enrolled in a boarding school for the elite – Hillerska. Things take a sudden turn for the teen prince when he unexpectedly becomes next in line to the throne. After Netflix announced season 2 in 2021, the filming for this series officially began in the month of February 2022. Netflix even shared a small video of the cast working on the sets titled “Our Young Royals are back!”
