After that, she joined Emcure as CFO. She grew her career in Emcure, and later, the Indian business got included in her work. This is how she has become the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals.

Besides that, Namita Thapar is also a board member of the regional advisory board of Fuqua School of Business, India. In addition, she is a Trustee on the TiE Mumbai Board of Trustees and an active member of the Young Presidents Organization.
