Bigg Boss 20 Day 10 Update: New Captain Crowned as Nomination Row Rocks the House

Week 2 inside the Bigg Boss 20 house opened with a genuine shock. A routine nominations task got scrapped mid-way after Bigg Boss caught a group of contestants plotting their votes before the task even began, and the punishment that followed has left three housemates staring at eviction while a new captain settles into the hot seat. Here is everything that unfolded over the last two days inside the house.

Nominations Cancelled After Housemates Caught Planning Votes

Bigg Boss pulled up captain Yung Dsa along with Scout, Aasif Khan and Rohed Khan after footage showed the four discussing who they intended to nominate before the official task had even started, a direct breach of the house rules that require nominations to be made on the spot. Rather than let the task stand, the makers voided it entirely and used it as a teaching moment for the rest of the house, playing back the clip in front of everyone. The reveal set off immediate confrontations, with other contestants openly questioning the group’s game plan.

Who’s Nominated for Eviction This Week

As punishment for the rule break, three of the four were handed direct nominations. This week’s danger zone includes:

• Aasif Khan
• Scout (Tanmay Singh)
• Rohed Khan

Yung Dsa was the only member of the group spared a nomination, a call the house attributed to his position as the outgoing captain. It means Scout now carries the added weight of contesting a captaincy result and an eviction nomination in the same week.

Aasif Khan Calls the Punishment Unfair

Aasif Khan did not take the decision quietly. The Panchayat actor pushed back on camera, telling Bigg Boss that if the house wanted him gone they should simply send him home rather than penalise him this way, and argued that the punishment did not fit a conversation that never actually influenced a real vote. His frustration has quickly become one of the most talked-about moments of the week among fans tracking the season.

Gullu Is Crowned the New Captain

Amid the fallout, the house also settled its Week 2 captaincy. The task, nicknamed the White Room, had the male contestants dressed in white while the women threw colour at whichever men they did not want leading the house next. When the paint settled, Kushal Tanwar, known in the house as Gullu, came out with the least colour on him and was named the new captain. Scout, who was also in the running, ended up losing a lifeline in the process, joining Kanika Mann and Uditi Singh on the list of housemates already down to their last life under this season’s twist.

The Scout-Arishfa Clash Spills Outside the House

The same captaincy task produced a heated exchange between Scout and Arishfa Khan, with both accusing each other of being physically aggressive during the paint-throwing. The disagreement did not stay inside the house. Clips of the argument spread quickly online, and Arishfa has since faced a wave of abusive and threatening messages from accounts backing Scout, something that has drawn criticism from fans of the show well beyond the usual fandom rivalry. Scout has also faced backlash for remarks made during the row that many viewers felt egged his supporters on. Neither Colors nor JioHotstar has issued an official comment on the online fallout so far.

Mahhi Vij and Amrapali Dubey’s Kitchen Argument

A second, unrelated fight broke out in the kitchen between Mahhi Vij and Amrapali Dubey after Amrapali asked not to be disturbed while cooking. The exchange turned personal quickly, with Amrapali telling Mahhi she did not register on her radar at all, a comment that reportedly left Mahhi in tears. It is the first real friction between the two since the season began and adds another equation to watch as the week plays out.

What to Watch For This Weekend

With Aasif Khan, Scout and Rohed Khan all in the danger zone, a genuinely tense Weekend Ka Vaar is on the cards, and it remains to be seen whether Salman Khan addresses the Scout-Arishfa fallout directly on the show. Voting for the nominated contestants is open now through the JioHotstar app. We will update this space as Week 2 results and any further twists come in.
