The Diwali Family Message Task
For Diwali week, Bigg Boss gave the housemates their first chance in about two months to hear from home, but with a catch. A housemate’s family message could only reach them if someone else gave up one of their own lifelines. Keep the lifeline, and the message and photo were destroyed instead.
Several housemates made the sacrifice. Amrapali Dubey gave up a lifeline so Gullu could hear his mother, and Kanika Mann did the same for Yung DSA. Qazi Touqeer gave up one of his lifelines for Mahhi, but she chose not to keep her family’s message, saying it could make her emotional in the game, and Qazi was left upset that his sacrifice had gone to waste.
Mahhi faced her own choice when Arishfa Khan’s turn came. She decided to protect her lifeline, so Arishfa’s message was destroyed and Arishfa was left in tears. That decision would matter again later in the week.
What Love Gill’s Mother Said to Mahhi Vij
Love Gill’s mother spoke in Punjabi. After encouraging her daughter, she turned to Mahhi and brought up a comment Mahhi had allegedly made earlier in the season. The remark dates back to the argument involving Love Gill, ScoutOP and Kaashvi, when Mahhi was said to have used the word “nanga” while speaking to Arishfa about Love, implying Love had no self-respect around Scout.
Love’s mother repeated the comment back to Mahhi and reminded her that she has a daughter of her own, asking her to think about how such words would feel if they were said about her child. The message was short, but in front of the whole house it landed as a public rebuke.
Mahhi Vij Denies the Remark and Breaks Down
Mahhi’s first response was to deny it. She told Love she had never used those words. Later, speaking with Uditi Singh and Arishfa Khan, she broke down in tears.
Her complaint was less about Love’s mother and more about the show itself. Mahhi said the makers were only showing her comments while other housemates also talked about each other, and that her family was watching from outside. She said she would not continue if she kept being shown this way and that she did not need the prize money. It was the clearest sign yet that the pressure of a long season is getting to one of its most outspoken players.
Has Mahhi Vij Quit Bigg Boss 20?
No. Despite her threat to walk out, Mahhi has not left the house, and the makers have not announced any exit. She remains in the game and is among the six housemates nominated for eviction in Week 9.
How the Family Task Made Arishfa Khan Captain
The week had a twist for Arishfa. Bigg Boss pointed out that she was the only housemate who had received nothing from home, and gave her a chance at the captaincy in a 2X Room task. Her housemates, Mahhi included, backed her, and Arishfa became the new captain of the house.
What to Expect at the Weekend Ka Vaar
This is not the first time Mahhi has been under fire. At the previous Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan questioned her contribution to the house after an argument with Love. With the family task clash, her refusal of her own message and her outburst about the makers all in the same week, she is likely to be a major topic when Salman returns on November 7 and 8.
She also faces the audience vote. The six housemates nominated in Week 9 are Mahhi Vij, Amrapali Dubey, Arishfa Khan, ScoutOP, Uditi Singh and Manish Goel, with the result expected at the same Weekend Ka Vaar. Voting trends shared on fan sites are unofficial and are not results.
