What Happened in Kavi Nyx’s Blind Audition
Kavi did not have to wait long. Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine pressed their buttons within moments of her first note, and Riley Green followed soon after. Queen Latifah, whose team was already full, could not turn, so Kavi chose between three coaches.
The feedback was specific. Kelly told her that her approach was purposeful and beautiful and encouraged her to keep it, because it sets her apart. Adam picked out the variety of scales she used and the way she brought Indian music into the song. Riley said her performance was full of personality and expression.
