One of Us Is Lying Season 3 – Know the Cast and Release Date

One of Us Is Lying, an American teen drama mystery series is based on a novel written by Karen M. McManus.

The series is about five students – Simon,  Cooper, Addy, Bronwyn, and Nate studying at Bayview High. They receive detention together and then get into trouble when one of them – Simon, is killed after drinking water that was laced with peanut oil, as he was allergic to peanuts. His unusual death causes a stir, and each one thinks the other is to blame – all the other four students present in the detention room had the motive to kill him because Simon was a prankster and had harmed them in some other way.

Season 1 of One of Us Is Lying left the audience on a cliffhanger, but the makers were generous and gave them Season 2. However, the script has expanded and opened doors to more intrigue and suspense. Although NBC hasn’t yet confirmed about Season 3, considering McManus has the third part of her novel coming soon, the audience may be hopeful for a third season for this series.

One of Us Is Lying Season 3 Release Date

In the month of October, 2022, creator and executive producer of this series, Erica Saleh, in one of her interviews, revealed that she did have a plan for Season 3.

“I definitely think that we’d have another new mystery and introduce some more evil elements at Bayview,” she said. “What deeper evil is lurking underneath the surface in Bayview is something that I’m really excited to explore in season three,” she added.

Season 1 of One of Us Is Lying debuted on Peacock in October 2021 and was made available on Netflix in February 2022. Season 2 was released on January 2022 in Peacock and was recently available for the audience this month – November 2022. This can be predicted for a probable Season 3 too, and the audience may expect a new Season in March 2023.

Who Would be a Part of Season 3 in One of Us Is Lying?

It is hard to say who will be a part of Season 3 of this series, but after watching the first two seasons and the cast members, we may expect:

• Melissa Collazo as Maeve
• Barrett Carnahan as Jake

Simon, Fiona, and Giselle have already been killed in the first two seasons and will not appear in the forthcoming seasons unless there is a flashback scene.
