One of Us Is Lying Season 1 ended in a cliffhanger showing Simon ingested a fatal capsule of peanut oil in a dare by Jake. Jake wanted to save Simon but changed his mind to frame his girlfriend Addy. The evidence of this incident was found in a videogame console in Jake’s room, but he flew away. But, the four central characters (Bronwyn, Nate, Addy, and Cooper) who are suspected to be confined in this murder know the truth that Jake accidentally died during a fight between him, Copper, and Janae. But is Jake really dead? It might be possible that Jake is alive, and in season 2, may this secret reveal.
One of Us Is Lying Season 2 can bring the story of the accident into the limelight where all the four central characters will be seen protecting themselves from the murder of Jake. Maybe someone is blackmailing them. This could let the characters reveal one another dark secrets during the investigation.
