The life of Catherine the Great is the subject of the well-known television series The Great who is the longest-reigning woman in Russian history. The first installment of the series was first released in 2020. After its premiere, the series managed to impress romance and drama lovers. The Great Season 3 Plot

Although there is no official confirmation about the plot, we can still assume what the future of the series is going to be like. We can understand that it will be an exciting series from the crew statements and the cliffhanger ending of season 2. We saw plenty of murder, complicated relationships, and several emotional twists in the second season. In the final episode of the 2nd season, we saw Catherine decide to solidify her rule once and for all by stabbing Peter in the back.

As an amazing twist in the story, it comes out that she stabbed a look-alike instead of Peter. From all the incidents that we have seen in the second season, we can assume that in the upcoming season, both Catherine and Peter will try to work on a solution that will allow both of them to live. We can also assume that Peter will continue carrying an image of a changed man who loves his wife and son, Paul. He will continue trying to prove that he is not a monster who is crazy about power as he was in the first season. 

We also hope to know about the fate of Catherine’s best friend Marial. The queen imprisoned her in the last season as she exposed Peter for sleeping with and then accidentally killing Catherine’s mother. How will acquiring all these complicated relationships, trust, power, and fate be? Time will tell us that.
