Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja’s Wedding: The Starry Affair

Just a couple of months ago we had drooled over the Bollywood-Cricket duo, Anushka and Virat, popularly known as Virushka. Now it is time that we drool over another B-town beauty who is soon to be hitched and it’s none another than Sonam Kapoor. Sonam is all set to tie the knot with the business tycoon, Anand Ahuja.

The Mehendi

Well, the celebrations have already started since last evening in Anil Kapoor’s home in Mumbai. The mehendi function was grand with a number of celebrities lighting it up. For the mehendi ceremony, the bride-to-be Sonam was wearing an Anuradha Vaid lehenga. She matched her lehenga with pretty dangler which suited her achkan. The Kapoors did not fail to impress their audience. The Kapoor family shared a number of pictures and videos on social media from the ceremony. By the evening, all the guests started arriving at the venue and undoubtedly they had a blast that evening.

The daughters of Boney Kapoor Late Sridevi, Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor stunned everyone around in superb lehengas designed by Manish Malhotra. Other celebrities such as Karan Johar, Rani Mukherjee, Kirron Kher and many more attended such wedding.

Without Karan Johar, Bollywood parties seem incomplete. So, he is all set to perform at their sangeet today afternoon.

The Wedding

Sonam and Anand will be getting married on Tuesday, 8^th May according to the traditions of the Sikhs. They will hold out a grand reception on same evening. The couple would be hosting the ceremony.

The Kapoors and the Ahujas announced about the duo’s wedding last week. In their statements they said, “The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”

The wedding hashtag “Everyday Phenomenal” seems to be trending. And undoubtedly, Sonam Kapoor is another happy bride-to-be in the B-town.
