The November 15 episode of The Voice saw four contestants in a musical fight for a single position. The four contestants faced a live elimination round to secure their wildcard entry position in the contest.
Bryce Leatherwood from Team Blake performed Billy Currington’s – Let Me Down Easy, Kevin Hawkins from Team Gwen sang Childish Gambino’s –Redbone, Sasha Hurtado from Team Legend performed Sia’s – Elastic Heart, and Kate Kalvach from Team Camila sang Miley Cyrus’ – When I Look At You.
After their performance, America cast a vote for the best performance. Each of the four contestants was hopeful and wished to gain a position in the Top 13, but only one could be selected as a wildcard entry.
Bryce Leatherwood from Team Blake won the love of the audience. Bryce is 22 years old and from Woodstock, Georgia, and had earlier defeated Duo The Dryes in a musical battle.
Leatherwood had won over Blake Shelton in his blind audition when he sang Conway Twitty’s “Goodbye Time”. Impressed with his performance, Shelton wasted no time welcoming him to his team. Shelton said that he was ‘blown away’ by his performance. Since then, Leatherwood has continued to impress Shelton, the other judges, and the audience with his performances.
After Leatherwood’s performance, Shelton said that Bryce has never disappointed. He ensured that he gave his best whenever he was on the stage. Bryce has got many-many fans and this is why Shelton wasn’t stressed about letting Bryce undergo this Last Chance performance. He was incredible, said Shelton.
