Is Mary Kom evicted from Bigg Boss 20? Yes. The Olympic medallist and six-time world boxing champion left the house at the Weekend Ka Vaar on Saturday, October 24, after losing her second and final lifeline in the Week 7 audience vote. Guest host Rohit Shetty, standing in for Salman Khan, announced the result a day earlier than the usual Sunday eviction. Here is how her lifelines ran out, how the house said goodbye, and what her exit means for the rest of the season. Last updated on October 27, 2026.

Mary Kom is the sixth housemate to leave Bigg Boss 20. See every exit in order in our Bigg Boss 20 eliminated contestants list, and find out how to back your favourite this week in our Bigg Boss 20 voting guide.

Mary Kom’s Bigg Boss 20 Eviction: The Short Answer

  • Is she out? Yes. She was evicted on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Week 7.
  • How? Through the audience vote. She had already lost one lifeline earlier in the season, and losing the second one left her with no protection.
  • Who announced it? Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who hosted that weekend’s Weekend Ka Vaar while Salman Khan was away.
  • How long did she last? Seven weeks, from the September 6 premiere to October 24.
  • Who else was in danger? Wild card Manish Goel was also nominated. He survived, but lost one of his two lifelines.

How Mary Kom Ran Out of Lifelines

This season, the lowest vote does not send a housemate home straight away. Every contestant starts with two lifelines, a bottom finish costs one, and only a housemate with no lifelines left can be evicted. That system kept Mary Kom in the game longer than her vote counts alone might have.

Her first warning came early. The weekend of October 3 and 4 passed without a regular eviction, but she was reported to have lost a lifeline after finishing lowest in that week’s vote. From then on, she was one bad week away from the exit door.

In Week 6 she landed in the official bottom three with Aman Gandhi and Uditi Singh. Aman, who had no lifelines left, was the one sent home on October 18, and Mary stayed. A week later she was nominated again, alongside Uditi Singh, Amrapali Dubey, Manish Goel, Arishfa Khan, Love Gill and Gullu. This time the vote went against her, and with her second lifeline gone, there was nothing left to save her.

A Saturday Eviction Under Rohit Shetty

Salman Khan had told the house the week before that he would miss the next Weekend Ka Vaar because of prior commitments, and Rohit Shetty took over the hosting duties. Evictions in Bigg Boss 20 usually land on the Sunday episode, but Shetty surprised the housemates by announcing the result on Saturday, October 24. Sunday’s episode went ahead without a second exit.

An Emotional Goodbye

Mary Kom’s exit was one of the warmest farewells of the season. Amrapali Dubey broke down as they said goodbye, and the housemates gathered to sing “You are a champion” for her, which left the boxer smiling as she walked out.

In her parting words she thanked the show for letting her play as long as she did, said the experience had taught her a lot, and told the others she hoped they would miss her. She urged them to play well and show who they really are, and she signed off with a joke that fit her career: if any of them had met her in a boxing ring, she would not have gone easy on them.

Mary Kom’s Seven Weeks in the Bigg Boss 20 House

Mary Kom walked in on premiere night as one of the most famous names in the line-up. Away from the arguments, viewers warmed to her lighter side, from her time in the kitchen to the workout sessions she shared with other housemates and the easy conversations in between.

She was not short of conflict either. In the second week a clash between her and Mahhi Vij turned personal, as covered in our Bigg Boss 20 Day 13 update. She was nominated several times over the following weeks, which is how she came to lose both lifelines before the halfway point of the season.

Who Is Mary Kom?

M.C. Mary Kom is a boxer from Manipur and one of India’s most decorated athletes. She is a six-time world champion, won bronze at the London 2012 Olympics, and took gold at the 2014 Asian Games and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Her life story was turned into the 2014 film Mary Kom, with Priyanka Chopra in the title role.

What Her Exit Means for Bigg Boss 20

With Mary Kom gone, six housemates have now left the house: Rohed Khan, Isha Rikhi, Rhiti Tiwari, wild card Nakul Dhull, Aman Gandhi and Mary Kom. Nineteen contestants have entered so far, so 13 remain. Manish Goel, who survived the same vote, now has one lifeline left, which puts him in the same position Mary was in after her first lifeline went.

The next eviction is expected at the Weekend Ka Vaar on October 31 and November 1. We will add the confirmed Week 8 nominees to our eliminated contestants list once the nominations episode has aired.
