Indian Idol 13 Episode: Sharmila Tagore recreates the magic of “Mere Sapno Ki Rani” once again

The upcoming episode of Indian Idol season 13 will feature the renowned actress, Sharmila Tagore. The actors supposedly appeared on the singing reality show’s “leading ladies special episode,” according to a recent trailer. Tanuja, another legendary diva, will accompany Sharmila Ji. The episode will air at 8:00 PM on Sunday October 16^th 2022.

Mere Sapno Ki Rani with Rishi Singh and Aditya Narayan

Sharmila Ji will recreate the train scene from her well-known song, Mere Sapno Ki Rani. The actor recreated the scene on stage with host Aditya Narayan and contestant Rishi Singh as they sang the popular song from the movie “Aradhana”.

By saying, “Pura Hindustan is proud of you,” Sharmila Tagore expressed her appreciation for Rishi Singh.

Rishi Singh, Sharmila Ji, and Aditya Narayan re-enacted the song’s famous scene. Rishi and Aditya played the male part of the scene which was originally played by Rajesh Khanna and Sujit. Sharmila Ji posed inside the mock train carriage with the same book she used in the movie while filming, When Eight Bells Toll by Alistair MacLean.
