A New dance competition, Come Dance With Me, is brewing on CBS Television, which will blow up everyone’s mind. This new dance competition show will bring more youth talents on board but with a twist.
Well, this time, the creators and executive producers of the show Chris O’Donnell, LL COOL J, and 3Ball Productions have decided to invite the young talent ranging in age 9 to 15 from across the country with one untrained family member who has supported their dancing dream to be their partner. Those untrained family members include anyone a preschool teacher, social worker, doctor, engineer, etc., who have learned choreography for their children.
Grammy Award winner and songwriter Philip Lawrence will host the series. Hollywood’s most prolific dancer and actresses Jenna Dawan, professional dancer Dexter Mayfield and hip hop choreographer Tricia Miranda will be on the judging board.
Every week, the aspiring kids will show their dance performance, with their supportive, albeit untrained family members. The teams will embark on a new journey in the hopes of receiving a higher score from the judges and advancing farther in the tournament. Throughout the show, the duo will learn and perform different dance styles from hip hop and ballroom to contemporary and theatrical.
The judges can award the contender up to 10 points depending on their chemistry and performance. The two lowest-scoring teams will go in a dance-off at the end of each night. The judges will decide which team will continue and whose dance journey in this competition will end. The winning team will get a $100,000 grand prize, at the end of the season.
So, if you are a dance lover, then lace up your shoes from 25th April every Friday from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT as the dance reality show is chasing the TV. The show will exclusively stream live on CBS Television and on-demand on Paramount+.
It will be really fun to watch the family dance competition show!
