Beat Shazam Season 6: Release date, Cast, Plot and Everything You need to know

After successfully wrapping their Season 5 last September, the makers of Best Shazam have announced a Season 6. The show will be featured on FOX this summer with Jamie Foxx as its host. 

Beat Shazam is an American television musical game show that first premiered in May 2017. The show was hosted by Jamie Foxx and Jeff Apploff. The show has completed five seasons and is set to premiere its sixth season too. 

What is Best Shazam Season 6 About?

Best Shazam hosts three teams comprising of two players each. The teams compete with each other in four different rounds – they need to identify a series of songs for which they score money for every right answer. The team that scores the highest gets to compete against the Shazam app. They must identify six songs correctly before Shazam can identify to increase their winning cash prize. Any team that is able to defeat Shazam and guess all six songs before it takes home a huge cash prize of $1,000,000. The show uses songs that are from Billboard Hot 100 music charts only.

Who Will Host Beat Shazam Season 6

Famous American actor and singer Jamie Foxx will host the Season 6 of Beat Shazam. He has hosted all the seasons of this show, and this year too he resumes his duties as the host. 

The daughter of Jamie Foxx, Corinne Foxx, is the DJ for Beat Shazam. Corinne is a talented actress and began her career at a very young age. She has played different roles in various television shows and a couple of movies. 

Where Can I Watch Beat Shazam Season 6?

Beat Shazam can be streamed on FOX or Tubi. Users of Hulu Plus and Fubo TV can also watch Beat Shazam. Amazon Prime Video also has Beat Shazam on their platform, but users would be able to watch Season 3 only on this OTT. 

When Will Beat Shazam Season 6 Premiere?

FOX announced on April 5, 2023, that Season 6 of Beat Shazam would premiere on May 23, 2023. Even Season 5 premiered on the same date last year.
