The movie is directed by Shakun Batra and the story is written by Batra, Sumit Roy, and Ayesha Devitre.
The heart-touching story of two cousins, Tia and Alisha, their lifestyles and choices were different. Gehraiyaan is something that is relatable to everyone’s lives, like fewer choices, struggling to live and get what you dreamt of. Things take an ugly turn when Tia’s fiancé and Alisha get involved in a romantic affair.
Gehraiyaan features modern relationships, their ways of dealing and taking control of each other’s life. It would be interesting to watch if Tia gets to know about the affair between Alisha and her fiancée, or Is Alisha and Tia’s Fiancée parted ways? What the life had held for all the three.

Unfortunately, I did not feel any spark between Deepika, Ananya and Siddhant in those scenes, although Deepika was great and quite comfortable throughout. Only the scenes of intimacy clearly devoid of chemistry sold something out of the film, out of sheer curiosity. It could have been a passionate, professional kiss, and the film had color, but Deepika and Ananya consumed a lot of scenes in vain. Siddhant does not have a hot, passionate male personality. Dhairya was missing. The story is a big joke like shakun ,karan,apoorva and dar gai. UNDER 100 CRORE REVENUE -FLOP OR AVERAGE NOT MORE!
