According to Hollywood Reporter, it is confirmed to release on May 6, 2022. Earlier, it was supposed to drop on March 25 but due to the reshoots issue, got delayed by six weeks.

Some rumors concerning Tom Hiddleston’s possible appearance in Doctor Strange 2 are circulating on social media, but nothing has been confirmed.
Doctor Strange 2 may have some connection to Spider-Man: No way Home, so it’s possible that Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, or Andrew Garfield will be seen in a cameo role. It might be possible that Patrick Stewart may reprise his role as Professor X.
Besides, Producer Kevin Feige revealed that Elizabeth’s streaming show WandaVision will link to the plot of Doctor Strange 2. Benedict and Elizabeth both are confirmed to play more than one variant of their characters in the show.
