Disney’s Pixar is All Set to Release a New Movie – Elemental – Know the Release Date & Cast

Pixar is all set with their latest movie ‘Elemental’ which will be released next year in 2023.

The plot of the movie is created around a world where all four elements– Water, Fire, Earth, and Air live together harmoniously in the Element city. Ember is a fire element who meets Wade, a water element, and despite knowing the fact that the two are completely different, love sparks between them.

The complete cast of Elemental is yet to be revealed, but we know that Leah Lewis is the voice behind Ember, and Mamoudou Athie is the voice behind Wade.

Trailer of Elemental

The trailer of Elemental was recently released and can be watched here on YouTube. The trailer shows Ember, a fire element, walking into a train inside a waterway with headphones on. It is a regular day for the citizens of Element who are traveling on the train.

The audience gets a glimpse of what all elements look like. Ember drops her headphones suddenly and is helped by a water element that introduces himself as Wade. The trailer ends with “Opposites React”.

We also noticed that Ember was the only fire element on the train which connects to the fact that the director of Elemental is the son of Korean immigrants. He grew up in the dreamy city of New York. The movie plot revolves around the experiences of Sohn. Director Peter Sohn revealed in an interview that his parents moved from Korea to the US in the 1970s, and they opened a grocery store in Bronx. “We were among many families who ventured to a new land with hopes and dreams—all of us mixing into one big salad bowl of cultures, languages, and beautiful little neighborhoods. That’s what led me to Elemental,” he added.

Release Date of Elemental

Elemental is set to release on June 16, 2023. It will be released theatrically worldwide, so Disney Plus members will not be able to see it on the OTT platform until mid-September.
