Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G is set to Release in Cinemas this October

Ayushmann Khurrana, one of Bollywood’s most gifted actors and singers, is known for taking on unusual roles and consistently surprising his audience. Because of this, the actor has progressed a lot since his debut film Vicky Donor, which was a box office success, to the present, when most of his films have become superhits. 

The actor has accomplished a lot in a relatively short period. His popular films, such as Bareilly ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Article 15, Dream Girl, Bala, and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, each have a unique idea and a social message. 

Before starring with Vaani Kapoor in the romantic comedy “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,” which was released on December 10, 2021, the actor was most recently seen in the action movie Anek (released on May 27, 2022), which earned mixed reviews.

Doctor G Release Date

The primary shoot for this film began in July 2021. It was primarily filmed in Bhopal. It was finished in September 2021. Initially set for June 17, 2022, the release date was then shifted forward. The movie will hit the theatres before Diwali on October 14, 2022. 

Doctor G Movie Budget

The film, starring some of the most adaptable superstars in Bollywood, including Shefali Shah and Ayushmann Khurrana, was made on a budget of almost ₹35 crores. 

Doctor G Cast

Anubhuti Kashyap directs the movie. She also authored the screenplay for this eagerly anticipated campus drama along with Sumit Saxena, who wrote the film’s dialogues. Saurabh Bharat and Vishal Wagh also wrote the story of the film. 

The female character, Dr. Fatima Duggal, a medical student, is played by actress Rakul Preet Singh. Along with a few Hindi films, she has worked on numerous Tamil and Telugu films. 

While Ayushmann was last featured in Anubhav Sinha’s action thriller film Anek, the actor has several projects lined up for this year, including Thank God and many others. 

Shefali Shah, who plays Dr. Nandini, will appear with lead actors Ayushmann and Rakul Preet. Sheeba Chaddha will also play a significant part.

The trailer is now out, and Ayushmann Khurrana announced the significant update with a promotional image. 

The medical school comedy-drama Doctor G centres on the comedic struggles of Dr. Uday Gupta, who wanted to concentrate on Orthopedics but was put in a class with only female students studying Gynaecology. Will he change his department or the department itself?
