Unveiling RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 5: Release Date, Celebrity Judges, Contestant and More

Season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is on the horizon! Get ready for the craziest show as RuPaul is joined once more by an all-star cast of drag queens, guest judges, and very British challenges. 

The British reality competition is based on an American TV series of the same name and is a collaboration between BBC, Gallowgate Productions, and World of Wonder. The show is presented by RuPaul Andre Charles, an American Drag Queen who is considered as one of the most successful drag queens in the United States. 

About RuPaul’s Drag Race UK

The plot centers on RuPaul and Michelle Visage as they look for the UK’s drag queen. The judges vote on the weekly winner after the Queens compete in a series of challenges, and the bottom two contestants then have to lip-sync in order to stay in the competition. The “RuPeter Badge” is awarded to the winners of each episode, while the eliminated contestant must leave the show. 

What is the Release Date of Season 5 RuPaul’s Drag Race UK?

According to an August 2023 press release, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK would return to BBC Three and BBC iPlayer in autumn 2023. So we can expect the show to be available this September or October.  

Who will be the Judges for Season 5 RuPaul’s Drag Race UK?

A panel of some of the most stellar judges will select a Drag Queen for Season 5. Besides the four main judges, RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton, there will be other judges who will participate in the selection of Season 5’s Drag Queen of this show.

Who Will Participate in the Season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK?

We are yet to learn about the potential Queens who will be participating in this show. But considering the release in Autumn this year, the list will soon be revealed.
