The Voice Season 23: America’s Favorite Singing Reality Show Returns – Meet the New Judges in 2023 with Audition Details

Four-time Emmy award-winning American singing reality show ‘The Voice’ is back for Season 23. The show always premieres in February and March, except for last year in 2022, when the show was telecast in the fall. However, they decided to premiere Season 23 in their regular time slot and have returned for the auditions.

The Voice – Judges for Season 23

Season 23 will be the last season for Blake Shelton, who has continuously been a part of ‘The Voice’ since the competition first premiered on NBC. The show makers also announced two new coaches for this season – Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper, who have replaced Gwen Stefani and Camila Cabello. The other two coaches, as we know, are Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson, who is back for her ninth season after brief hiatus.

Carson Daly will return for his twenty-third season as a host for this reality show, and Reba McEntire will be the Mega Mentor for this season.

The Voice Season 23 Audition Details

The show began its Blind Auditions on March 6, 2023. For now, we know that total of six Blind Auditions is scheduled – the last one will be aired on March 21, 2023.

How are the Contestants Shortlisted?

In the Blind Auditions, the artist(s) present their song on the stage with the judges facing the audience.

• If a coach likes the voice of the artists, they can press the buzzer and face the stage.
• When a coach presses the buzzer, the artist is automatically placed in their team. If more than one coach presses the buzzer and turns, the artist can decide whose team they wish to join.
• Every coach has one ‘Block’ power that will prevent another coach from taking the artist in their team.
• The show will proceed once there are 10 artists on each team.
