Plot of “The Magician’s Elephant”

Peter is an orphan who lost his sister when he was quite young. He believes that she is still alive and is determined to find her. He comes across a fortune-teller in the market who tells her to follow the magician’s elephant if he wants to find his sister. Since he was allowed to ask just one question from this fortune-teller, he could not get any details. Soon, Peter happens to be a part of a magic show where the magician accidentally conjures an elephant instead of lilies.

In doing so, a lady from the noble family is injured, and the elephant is taken into royal custody. Remembering the fortune-teller’s words, Peter goes after the elephant to set it free. However, he has to perform three impossible tasks. The story proceeds with Peter going on an adventure to complete the three tasks and look for his lost sister.
