The Great British Bake Off, on several occasions, has held national theme-based episodes such as Japan Week, Mexican Week, etc. However, one of the producers of the show, Kieran Smith, revealed in one of the interviews that Season 14 would be very simple and no themes would be used as they had to face some backlash from the viewers.
Smith said, “We’re doing all the regular weeks: Cakes, Biscuits, Bread, Patisserie, Chocolate, plus Party Cakes is a new theme. No spoilers, but it features challenges I think viewers will love.”
The official page of British Bake Off on Twitter revealed the release date of Season 14 of the show. The tweet read, “Bake a date in your diaries. Join Paul, Prue, Noel, and Alison on Tuesday, 26th September, for the return of The Great British Bake Off. #GBBO.”
The Great British Bake Off will be telecast on Channel 4 at 8:00 p.m. on September 26, 2023. The makers are yet to announce if the show will be available on Netflix for the US citizens.
