Sardar Udham is the most-awaited and heart-wrenching movie based on the real-life incidents of our revolutionary freedom fighter whose mission was only to take revenge on the death of his brethren who were brutally killed in the Jaliawala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.
The movie features evergreen star Vicky Kausal as Sardar Udham, who was also seen in the action film Uri-The Surgical Strike which was presented in 2019.
The Piku fame director Shoojit Sircar has directed the movie and is all set to be released on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. The amazon prime video director says, “It is important to tell the story of fearless, fortitude, and brave heroes of our nation to the youth of the country to make them inspire. The movie will show all the real-life events of the patriotic Sardar Udham Singh, whose soul was full of courage and did not bow against injustice.
According to a report, the movie will focus more on the incident of Jaliawala Bagh in which the British forces has opened the fire under the command of General O Dyer against the non-violent protesters. The protesters were protesting to release the freedom fighters who got arrested at that time. The most brutal act of that time led Gandhi to call off the movement of the Rowlatt act.

The biopic film is filled with a myriad of emotions and brutal acts that our freedom fighters have faced during the time. The movie is all set to release on 16 October 2021 on Amazon Prime.
