
The 1987, American comedy film – Planes, Trains and Automobiles is one of the most watched movies in American Homes during Thanksgiving. The story is written by John Hughes who also produced and directed the movie featuring Steve Martin as Neal Page and John Candy as Del Griffith as the lead characters. It is a comical misadventure where Neal tries to get home in Chicago for Thanksgiving.

Steve Martin plays the role of a marketing executive, and John Candy is a salesman who sells shower curtain rings. Neal is trying to get home to his family, but fate seems to be a little cruel in allowing him to reach them on time before Thanksgiving. He is barraged with a series of misfortunate events that always seem to have Del involved in it somehow.
