Lockwood & Co. is a supernatural show where a girl with psychic abilities joins a team of two teenage boys to fight some deadly spirits haunting the streets of London. The 8-episode Season 1 was received well by the audience who are looking forward to a Season 2 of ghost-hunting action. 

Generally, Netflix announces the next Season of a show within a couple of months after the show has been premiered. If Lockwood & Co. has received audience love, then it is likely that Season 2 will be released by Spring next year in 2024.

Lockwood & Co. is based on the books written by Jonathan Stroud. There are five books in this series, and Season 1 of Lockwood & Co. has been made on the storyline of the first two books – The Streaming Staircase and The Whispering Skull. If there was a Season 2 to be made, then it would be inspired by other books – The Hollow Boy, The Creeping Shadow, and The Empty Grave.

Stroud has written another book after taking input from his readers, and this book was – The Dagger in the Desk. The makers may include this short story in Season 2 too. The third book has the team of Lockwood & Co. investigating an outbreak in Chelsea – the makers have a lot of content waiting if Season 2 for Lockwood & Co. happens.
