Ever since it first premiered in 2004, the famous Hindi-singing reality show Indian Idol has given so many talented singers to Bollywood. After being recognized on the show, these singers are now established celebrities and have a good musical career. Rishi Singh from Ayodhya won Season 13 of the Indian Idol show, which ended in April this year (began in September 2022), and the makers are now preparing to premiere Season 14.
Here is what we know about Season 14 of Indian Idol:
Kumar Sanu, Vishal Dadlani, and Shreya Ghoshal are the judges of Season 14. Himesh Reshamiya will not be a part of the judge’s panel this year.
After hosting Indian Idol for three consecutive seasons – Seasons 11, 12, and 13- Aditya Narayan will now be replaced by Hussain Kuwajerwala. He is a returning host and had hosted Indian Idol earlier for Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. He also hosted Indian Idol Junior Season 8. Hussain is a famous actor and host on Indian television. Besides performing in several television serials, he has also participated in reality shows. Besides hosting Indian Idol, he has also hosted shows like Kismei Kitna Hai Dum, Khulja Sim Sim, Kalakarz, Nach Baliye 3, Dance Premiere League, and more.
There will be 15 participants in the show who will compete against each other for the grand prize. The makers are yet to reveal the entire list of participants. However, we are aware of one name that has made it to the Top 15 list – Adya Mishra, who is from Faridabad.
The makers will soon announce the names on their official channel, Sony. In addition, here are the names of few contestants who made it to Indian Idol Season 14.

Indian Idol Season 14 will premiere on October 7, 2023. The show will be telecast on weekend-Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 pm onwards on Sony.
