
This year, OTT platforms saw the introduction of many top-notch web series and films. At the Filmfare OTT Awards 2022, Rocket Boys took home a total of 8 awards, including Best Series and Best Director. Rocket boys is biographical series based on two extraordinary men Dr. Homi J. Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.
Taapsee Pannu then received the Best Actor (Female) Award for “Looop Lapeta.” It’s a comedy thriller film directed by Aakash Bhatia.
For his work in the drama movie “Dasvi,” Abhishek Bachchan won the Best Actor, Web Original Film-Male award. The social comedy, directed by Tushar Jalota and featuring Nimrit Kaur, Yami Gautam, and others, was well-liked by viewers. In the movie, Abhishek played Ganga Ram Chaudhary, a chief minister with an “aathvi pass” who is imprisoned for his involvement in a scheme. While Chaudhary is in jail, his wife Bimla Devi fills in as chief minister, and Nimrat played her.
The Best Supporting Actor award went to Anil Kapoor for Thar, and the Best Actor (Web Series) female award went to Raveena Tandon for Aranyak.
The event was attended by a number of famous people, including Bhumi Pednekar, Vidya Balan, Neha Dhupia, Raveena Tandon, Anil Kapoor, Neena Gupta, Gauahar Khan, and Hardhvardhan Kapoor.

The red carpet for the Filmfare OTT Awards 2022 was walked by Bollywood celebrities Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Jackie Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Adah Sharma, among others.
