Bhagya Lakshmi is an Indian television drama that is telecast on Zee TV and is also available on its digital platform ZEE5. The serial first premiered on August 3, 2021. It has been produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.
The story is about an innocent Punjabi girl, Lakshmi Bajwa, who happens to save the life of a rich businessman by the name of Rishi Oberoi. Rishi’s mother gets them married, but it was only later that Lakshmi realizes that the marriage was a sham and Rishi’s horoscope had ‘Markesh Dosh’, which would lead to his death. Still, since Lakshmi’s horoscope was lucky, this could be prevented with a marriage union. Things take an unusual turn when Lakshmi learns about this marriage and divorces Rishi, even though he has actually fallen in love with her.

The latest episode of August 25, 2023, was an emotional one. Lakshmi seems to comfort Ayush and asks him not to cry. Ayush begs her to come back to the Oberoi mansion as Rishi is heartbroken. Lakshmi agrees, and both Ayush and Shalu hug Laksmhi with joy.
Ayush and Shalu speak amongst each other, saying that things will be fine once Rishi and Lakshmi get married.
Back in Oberoi mansion, Virendra finds Ayush to be quite happy and asks him whether Lakshmi has returned with him. Ayush says that Lakshmi will return the next day, in which Virendra too is happy.
Shalu and Bani try to convince Lakshmi that she loves Rishi, but she denies saying that Rishi is just a friend.
Rishi overhears Ayusha and Virendra speaking about Lakhmi’s return and is overjoyed. He dreams about Lakmi being back with him and that she has accepted his love. He wakes up from his dream and realizes he is in Lakshmi’s room. He cleans and decorates her room to welcome her home as she has decided to come back.
Lakshmi is ready with her luggage to leave for the Oberoi mansion, and Shalu asks her whether Lakshmi believes that Rishi will be happy after marrying Malishka. Bani, too, requests Lakshmi to express her love to Rishi.
Rishi gets ready to welcome Lakshmi and wears the jacket that she had gifted him. The episode ends with a very jealous Malishka watching Rishi.
Bhagya Lakshmi is telecast on Zee TV at 8:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Its episodes are also available for viewers to stream on ZEE5.
