Ekta Kapoor has come up with another new serial that will be premiered on Colors TV. The name of the show is ‘Dharam Patni’.
Fahmaan Khan, who gained popularity from the serial ‘Imlie‘ will be seen playing the male lead in this serial. Earlier, the audience had loved the on-screen chemistry of Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer in ‘Imlie’ and looked forward to seeing the couple together even after ‘Imlie’ came to an end.
However, when Sumbul took the offer of Bigg Boss 16, there were rumours that even Fahmaan would enter as a guest. Fahmaan denied the rumours but also said he would love to visit the house of Bigg Boss as a guest just to support his fellow actress, Sumbul.

Fahmaan was soon offered this serial, and the role of female protagonist for ‘Dharam Patni’ was given to Kritika Yadav. A model and actress, Kritika gained fame when she participated in MTV Splitsvilla 12 in 2021. She has worked in several commercials and is a talented actress.

The show is about two individuals who don’t just belong to different societies but also have different personalities and views of life. Fahmaan will play the role of business tycoon Ravi Randhawa while Kritika will be seen in the role of Pratiksha Parekh, a school teacher who always appreciates small things in life. She is a simple girl who is very optimistic, kind and spreads joy.
The audience loved Fahmaan and Sumbul; we are yet to see how the on-screen chemistry between Fahmaan and Kritika turns out to be.
The serial has an interesting plot, and the audience is already looking forward to its release. Colors TV has already begun advertising the serial as ‘Coming Soon’, but the date and time of its release are yet to be known.
